Upcoming Litters

  • Wolfdog Litters

One of our long-term goals is to offer our buyers the option of applying for a low, mid, or high content wolfdog litter. However, because we only have 1-2 litters per year, we cannot offer every content level as an option every year. There may be a several-year wait for a certain percentage range/content level, depending on what we have planned.

With that in mind, please review our Future Breeding Plans below for information about our Upcoming Litters, including what the estimated percentage of wolf content will be for each specific litter, based on the parents’ Embark results.

Please note that our Wolfdog litters are separate from our Tamaskan Dog breeding program and therefore are not associated or registered with any of the official Tamaskan Dog registries worldwide.

  • Tamaskan Dog Litters

Occasionally, we will have Tamaskan Dog litters planned. All of our Tamaskan Dog litters will be registered with the Tamaskan Dog Register (TDR) and the American Rare Breed Association (ARBA).

For the foreseeable future, all of our Tamaskan Dog litters will have low amounts of wolf content (30% or less), as permitted by the TDR regulations. Please review our Upcoming Litters below for information about our planned Tamaskan Dog litters, including the estimated percentage of wolf content for each specific litter, based on the parents’ Embark results.

We are happy to help recommend other registered Tamaskan Dog breeders who may have 0% wolf content litters planned, if that is what you are searching for.

Information about our upcoming Wolfdog and registered Tamaskan Dog litters can be found below. We typically only have one or two litters per year and prefer to have our litters reserved by committed homes prior to breedings taking place. You must pass our application and screening process to qualify for reserving a spot in an upcoming litter with a deposit.

To begin our application and screening process, click the button below to be redirected to our Application Form. Please be as detailed as possible when completing this form, as it is the best way we can begin getting to know you and learn more about what you’re searching for in your next companion. If you have any questions, please contact us at wolfdogsoftheebonblade@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Our breeding plans are subject to change or cancellation without notice at any time.

Upcoming Wolfdog Litters

  • Genn x Cassiopeia - April 2025 Wolfdog Litter

We plan to breed Genn (Cottonwoodz Genn Greymane) to Cassie (Cassiopeia) for a 95% high content litter that is expected to be born in April 2025.

There is a 75% chance for black phase puppies and a 25% chance for agouti gray puppies in this litter. Both will phase to white with age.

Experience with verified (Embarked) wolfdogs of at least mid content (50%+) or extensive experience with primitive breeds, is required. Puppies are eligible for USA homes only.

Embark predicts the COI of this litter to average at 3%.

  • Genn x Holly - December 2025 Wolfdog Litter

We plan to breed Genn (Cottonwoodz Genn Greymane) to Holly (Holly of the Ebon Blade) for an F4 ~70% mid content litter expected to be born sometime in December 2025, depending on Holly’s heat cycle timing.

Puppies from this litter will have a 50/50 chance of being black phase or agouti gray. It is very likely both will phase to white with age, but not guaranteed.

Experience with primitive breed dogs and/or wolfdogs is strongly recommended, but this litter is expected to be suitable for first time wolfdog owners who are willing and ready to learn, as well. Puppies are eligible for both USA and International homes where F4 wolfdogs are legal.

Embark predicts the COI of this litter to average at 1%.

Upcoming Tamaskan Dog Litters

We currently do not have any Tamaskan Dogs who are of breeding age. Our next Tamaskan Dog litter will not happen until 2026, as we wait for our youngsters to grow up and complete their health, temperament, and conformation testing and evaluations.

Reckless, the dam of our previous Tamaskan Dog litter (The Frostbrood of the Ebon Blade, born Sept. 20, 2022), is now retired. Five of the nine total puppies from that litter are in potential breeding homes (3 males and 2 females). We are waiting until they turn 3 years old before we submit their health testing results, conformation evaluations, and temperament evaluations, to the Tamaskan Dog Register’s Committee of Breeders for consideration as breeding dogs.

We are not accepting applications or building a waiting list for Tamaskan Dog puppies until we receive feedback from the TDR about the approval or denial of our proposed litter plans.
